Welcome to Janine's Daycare! I offer care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in my registered daycare in the Gates-Chili School District.
I have been watching children since 2000, and have loved every minute of it. I try to emphasize the "Family" part of a Family Home Daycare. The older children like to help me take care of the younger ones, & it is so fun to watch the little ones try to keep up with the bigger kids!
My motto is “Where Play and Learning Come Together”. I believe that play is important to every child’s learning process; it is how they become familiar with how the world around them works and how they fit in to that world. So, while I have developed an educational program for the children, I aim to be flexible. I will arrange the activities to respond to the interests of the children, both individually and as a group. I will encourage each child to learn and develop at his or her own pace. This will lead to the self-confidence that allows a child to feel secure in exploring that world. I also hope it instills in each child a love of learning that will be with him/her all through the school years and beyond.
Current openings
I have 3 full time openings for the summer & fall for all ages, including school aged children. I am also accepting drop in care for a day a week or more!
Preschool Transportation
I currently offer free transportation to Parkminster Preschool, and may be able to transport to other local preschools.
